Why do I not find university sports?
Only topics that redirect to a browser are listed In the A-Z. Since university sports will be integrated into the app in V.2, it is missing in the A-Z.
Cafeterias and catering
Why am I not shown menus for future weeks?
Only the menus for the current week are available. The reason for this is that sometimes the refectories have not yet planned all the menus for the coming weeks.
Locations
Why is the administration building at Hochschulstrasse 6 not listed?
Currently we can only display lecture rooms.
No locations are visible on the map.
Possibly because no location type is selected in the filter function (multiple selection is possible).
Library of the university
Do I have access to e-books and e-journals?
Yes. E-books and e-journals are accessible via swisscovery if you have VPN enabled and are logged into swisscovery. E-journals are also accessible via Browzine and databases, if you have VPN enabled.
Which library is the right one for me?
You can filter the display by field of study or research area.
Learning places
I cannot see the learning places that I should be able to reserve.
The function for reserving learning places can only be used by registered users. Please check if you are registered and log in with your eduID.
Studies
Not all courses appear in the timetable.
Only the courses for which you are registered are displayed. With courses for which you do not have to register, the same applies here as for the iCal file in CTS: Select the courses that are to be displayed in CTS under the menu item "My timetable".
You have possibly selected an account other than your student account when logging in. Log in again and select the student account (affiliation).
My dates are not visible.
As an employee of the university you have no display in this area, only courses are shown.

I can't add courses to my planning view.
The planning for the semester must be done in the CTS WEB app; in UniBE Mobile, you can register for courses, that have already been added to the planning view.
Which courses are displayed in the "All" tab in the app?
The search works like the "simple search" in CTS. Courses of the current and future semesters are displayed.
Which courses are displayed in the "Creditable" tab in the app?
Students must be logged in to use this search. Courses are displayed, if they are creditable in an active study program or via "Electives". Courses which are creditable as "Extracurricular achievements" are not taken into account.
Which courses are displayed in the tab "Open registrations"?
The Open Registrations tab displays all those courses that are in the logged-in student's CTS planning view and are open for registration or deregistration.
Which courses are displayed in the tab "All registrations"?
All courses of the logged in student are displayed, for which he/she is registered and for which there is a date in the future.

Unisport
Some sports I want to participate in do not appear in my schedule.
It is technically not possible to list offers in the timetable, for which you do not have to register. However, it is planned that offers without registration can be added to the mobile calendar.
What is the meaning of B, L1, L2 and sun?
These are the ability levels of University Sports. Under "More" in the app or here you find a link describing them.
What is the meaning of the different phases?
Information on the phases can be found under "More > Opening Hours" in the UniBE Mobile App or here.
I want to register for an offer but the registration period opens later, can I be reminded?
You can set a reminder in your private cell phone calendar using the "Set reminder in calendar" button in the offer, then you will be informed about the upcoming registration deadline. Note: you have to do this every week for recurring events or create a series of appointments.
I can't register for offers or put them on my watch list.
Make sure you have logged into the app with your edu-ID, only then you are authorized for registrations and personalization.
I have found a suitable sport offer but would like more information about the sport.
Do not access via the search function, but via the A-Z index. For each sport you can go to "More info".
I don't have a Unisport ID yet. How can I get one?
If you are a student at the University of Bern, you are automatically entitled to take part in the entire university sports program with your validated Unicard. In all other cases, you can check your authorization via the keyword "Unisport ID", which you will find in the app under the three dots at the top right, and apply for an ID if necessary.

Why can't I find my fellow students?
The directory contains only employees.

How long will I stay logged in to the app?
The app's registration period is limited to 30 days. After that, you will receive a pop-up message from the app asking you to register again.
Push notifications
Which push notifications do I receive?
Currently, the following personal push notifications can be subscribed to:
- definite registration for a course
- failed registration for a course
- definite registration for an assessment
- change of date of an assessment
- Reminder: registration / deregistration
- new grade
Terms of use / Privacy policy
Why am I repeatedly asked to accept the terms of use (incl. privacy policy)?
For legal reasons, user consent is required after each change.
We strive to bundle changes to keep the frequency of acceptance requests low.
Webshop
How do I place an order internally at the Uni by credit transfer (e.g. for a congress)?
Under LOGIN in the field CAMPUS ACCOUNT LOGIN you can log in with your current campus account. You will then be taken to the university internal area of the webshop, which allows you to place an order with credit transfer.
What should I do if an item is no longer in stock or available to order in sufficient quantity?
We keep the stock at an economically reasonable level. If an item is no longer in stock or in sufficient quantity, please contact us at webshop@unibe.ch. Please note that restocking requires around 6 to 8 weeks lead time.
What should I do if I can't find the desired item in the webshop?
We offer a basic assortment of various items. If the article you are looking for is not available, please contact us via webshop@unibe.ch. We will be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.
What should I do if the garments in my size are out of stock?
Reorders of sizes no longer in stock are made collectively (approx. every six months). This is due to the minimum order quantities and the lower purchase price.
Are the items of the webshop sustainable?
Sustainability is a big concern for us. We work with a company that is completely carbon neutral. Likewise, all the articles in the store are purchased carbon-neutrally. When selecting articles, we pay attention to material and origin. However, please note that not all articles can be produced in Switzerland or Europe. For articles from the far east we pay attention to sustainable and socially responsible production partners.
Language
Why do not all the contents of the app appear in English / French, even though I have set the language accordingly?
The content of the app originates from source systems that are not all consistently available in different languages. The language in the app corresponds to the availability in the source system.
